Company Overview

Vineyard, Fisheries, Shop & Restaurant opened to the public in 2007. We produce on site several different varieties of red, white, rose and sparkling wine. Vineyard tours are available. There is a fully air conditioned restaurant and bar serving food which range from snacks to full meals. Shop selling a variety of jams, chutney, giftware. Six fishing lakes including one trout lake. Open 10am-4pm seven days.

Success Story

Being on the site since 1962 the family started out as dairy farmers and over the years moved to arable farming and then on to market gardening. During the eighties we formed Excelsior Wholesale and built this up to be one of the largest floristry wholesalers in the UK. In 2001 the vineyard was planted, 8000 vines and the fisheries dug and finally we were able to open the restaurant and shop to the public in 2007.
